Hellier Langston were approached and appointed by a London based property company looking for valuation advice regarding a potential retail led investment acquisition on St James Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, with tenants including Bet Fred and HSBC.

The brief not only required Hellier Langston to provide an RICS Red Book valuation but also to provide detailed consideration of future prospects of the Newport retail market including rental projections and tenant demand while also considering the valuation implication of the various lease provisions.

The advice provided resulted in the client making a successful purchase whilst having considered all the potential risk elements.
