Hellier Langston have acted for the NHS on a number of disposals, including Fordingbridge Hospital, and parts of the St James Hospital site in Portsmouth. On the acquisition side, we have acquired sites for national housebuilders such as Barratt David Wilson on the former Ordnance Survey headquarters in Romsey Road, Southampton.
Hellier Langston have recently completed the acquisition of the former East Street Shopping Centre in Southampton for Kier. The site will provide 436 student bed development, as well as potentially up to 300 units of Private Rental Sector housing.
Acting on behalf of Royal Mail, Hellier Langston have recently disposed of the former delivery office in Cosham. The site attracted interest from a large number of developers, and was sold via informal tender, with the Royal Mail achieving in excess of their expectations on the disposal.
