Hellier Langston lets Segensworth premises to Steve Porter Transport

Hellier Langston, acting on behalf of AXA Real Estate Investment Managers SA, has successfully let Unit 5 Crompton Way, Segensworth to Steve Porter Transport, part of KNP Logistics Group.

Unit 5 comprises a refurbished 30,184 sq ft warehouse situated on a 2.1 acre site. The cross-loading warehouse unit was built in the 1970s and benefits from a secure, self-contained 1.46 acre usable concrete yard, making it ideal for a warehouse and distribution operation.

Steve Porter Transport signed up for a new 10-year lease, with the process completing in December 2020. The pandemic inevitably presented some challenges, but Hellier Langston worked hard to keep the momentum going, ensuring that both parties were well-informed every step of the way. 

Established in 1981, Steve Porter currently employs in excess of 70 full-time staff across five sites in Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, and operates 40 vehicles and 80 trailers. After years of successfully working together, Steve Porter Transport joined KNP Logistics Group in 2019. Combined group statistics currently reach 400 trucks, 450 trailers, 700 full-time staff and 450,000 sq ft of warehousing.
