Hellier Langston Awarded Two New Property Management Contracts

They have recently secured substantial contracts to manage two separate industrial estates on behalf of Langtree, a successful commercial property company based in Warrington.

The two industrial estates, located in Waterlooville and Reading, are owned by John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust (JLPPT) . Langtree are the national managing agents for all of JLPPT's properties and the management of each individual site is subcontracted out to regional specialists. This is to ensure that each asset is managed and efficiently and effectively.

The two industrial estates are Pipers Wood Industrial Estate in Waterlooville, comprising 11 industrial units, and Theale Commercial Estate in Reading, which consists of 14 industrial units.

Hellier Langston’s management responsibilities will include carrying out monthly site inspections, preparing and managing the service charge for the communal areas of the two estates, incorporating landscaping, undertaking H&S reporting, implementing and ensuring tenant compliance with lease terms, and reporting to the client on all matters.

​Hellier Langston have advised JLPPT on agency and landlord and tenant matters at Pipers Wood for a number of years. Given their prior knowledge and experience, they were seen as the perfect fit to advice on the estate management.

These most recent contracts will add to Hellier Langston’s successful property management portfolio, which consists of around 180 tenancies around the country. Although most of the properties are located in their core area of Chichester to Southampton and up to Petersfield, they equally adept to manage properties outside of the area when required.
