Subway Fareham

Hellier Langston were recently appointed by the franchisee of the Subway outlet on Market Quay in Fareham to help negotiate a renewal of their lease.

We were asked to provide advice into the changing retail market and budgeting advice for the upcoming renewal and how it could potentially affect their business plans as there was a desire to refurbish the store.

After providing our report we were instructed to negotiate the terms, tasked with securing the best possible deal.

Having recently been an acquiring agent for a retail unit on the pedestrianised section of West Street, we had a good understanding of the local market and the current achievable terms.

After a lengthy negotiation process we were able to secure a significant reduction in the headline rent along with a substantial rent free period, which will allow the franchisee to fully refurbish the store.

Hellier Langston represents tenants in all sectors of the property market including retail, industrial, and office.  Our RICS qualified surveyors provide knowledgeable, accurate advice based on years of experience, working in each sector.
