Hellier Langston were instructed by Fareham Borough Council to provide advice and acquire suitable commercial property investments as part of a strategy by the Council to optimise returns on Council investments.
As a result of our advice and searches, Hellier Langston acquired the Council’s first commercial property investment in August. This was Clifton House in Brunel Way, Segensworth. The property is let to contact lens manufacturer Sauflon for a term of ten years from March 2013 at a rent of £162,000 per annum. The purchase price paid by the Council reflected a net initial yield of 9%.
