Hellier Langston has, for a number years, managed several properties at Parklands Business Park for a number of landlords.
What we did
Hellier Langston quickly identified Technology House as the property within the portfolio with greatest potential value and demand. Technology House is a 4,611 sq. ft. (428 sq. m.) office let to WCI Consulting for a term of 25 years from December 1989 at a rent of £52,500 per annum. With our extensive contacts of local investors, Hellier Langston targeted a number of potential purchasers who would be attracted to a high yielding investment opportunity, with a good covenant and with future asset management opportunities. Terms were agreed with a local investor and the sale completed in June 2013.

The landlord of Technology House had encountered funding difficulties resulting in the properties falling into the hands of Receivers. With a number of the properties being vacant, with very little letting demand, Hellier Langston were instructed by the Receiver to maximise the returns from the portfolio.
