Locally Based Builders Merchants Expand Into New Premises and Create a New Business Park for the New Forest

The site, which was purchased from New Forest District Council, was once home to Racal Vodafone, however since their factory shut in the late 1990s, the site and buildings remained empty and were becoming more and more derelict.

With the old factory demolished in 2015, the site was ripe for new development, and PC Building Supplies took the opportunity to acquire the site, build new premises and relocate from their existing establishment in central Hythe.

The newly completed scheme, which has regenerated a rare brownfield site in The New Forest now provides a new home for PC Building Supplies Ltd, as well as a terrace of 6 light industrial and warehouse units.

The 6 units total 726m² (7,800 ft²) and are available in combinations from 121m² (1,300ft²) upwards, and Unit 1 has already been let to Gecko Graphics Ltd

PC Building Supplies remain a family-owned independent builders’ supply company servicing the local and national housing and trade community. Whilst based in Hardley, Hampshire, they distribute building materials across the country.
