Hellier Langston Win Instruction For Two Major Southampton Industrial Parks

Hellier Langston have been appointed as joint letting agents for two major commercial sites in Southampton - Marchwood Industrial Park and Eling Wharf. They were awarded the long-term instruction after presenting to site owners ABP over the summer.

Hellier Langston will be responsible for securing tenants for any units, offices and sites that become available at the two locations. They will utilise their expertise and a range of marketing tools to pair potential occupiers to the spaces available, ensuring well-matched partnerships and secure leases. Lambert Smith Hampton is joint agent on the two sites.

Both Eling Wharf and Marchwood Industrial Park are situated near Southampton water, Eling to the north near Totton and Marchwood further south. Eling Wharf has excellent access to the M271 via the A35 Totton Bypass, while Marchwood Industrial park is accessed via the A326, just 5 miles from the M271. Both are well situated for Southampton Docks and Southampton City Centre.

The two sites are approved for B8 use, which includes storage and distribution as well as open air storage for purposes such as HGV parking, container hire, cruise parking, self storage and scaffolding.

Eling Wharf is 48 acres in size and currently consists of areas of open storage land, warehouses and industrial units of various sizes, a range of office suites and design and build development. Current occupiers include IPL Haulage, Hanson Aggregates, Southwest Trucks and Eling Construction.

Marchwood Industrial Estate covers an area of 120 acres and comprises industrial units, office accommodation and open storage. Current occupiers include Royal Mail, Maritime, Elliott Hire, Biffa, Hoyer and Brockenhurst College.

Check out 2G and 2H Marchwood Industrial Park, two adjoining industrial units measuring 6,252 sq ft. The property comprises a large warehouse area, office space and comes with a secure yard, allocated parking and 24-hour security.

EW09 Eling Wharf is a 44,300 sq ft secure open storage site, finished with concrete and type 1 surfacing. The site will be surrounded by a paladin security fence and benefits from access to water and electricity.
