New Café for Fareham Reach Business Park

Terms have been agreed with local business Rosario's & Co (Southern) Limited. The owners of The Dovecote Eatery, a successful existing café in central Fareham, have agreed a 10-year lease on a unit at Fareham Reach Business Park. The space will be used to establish a new on-site café for the 600 people working on the estate as well as the local community.

Located in a prominent position at the entrance to Fareham Reach Business Park, the corner unit comprises 743 sq ft (69 sq m) of internal accommodation and an outside seating area. Ideally placed to attract customers from the business park as well as passing trade, it also benefits from being opposite an established residential area.

The unit was originally an office, but planning was obtained to convert it to a café with alterations to adapt it into 39 sq m of retail counter use and 30 sq m of kitchen/preparation area and storage. An additional seating and lobby area will be created via removal of the floor to ceiling partition and double swing fire doors, opening up the entrance foyer. A new entrance to the staff WC and installation of air conditioning is also planned.

Offering a diverse range of modern industrial and office space, Fareham Reach Business Park has been refurbished to a high specification, with a growing tenant mix including CPG Logistics, Travis Perkins, Ashford Colour Press and the recently added Parceljet Technology.
