Florist Hopes to Blossom at New Portsmouth Shop

Two florists from Portsmouth have made their dreams a reality by opening their own shop in Drayton, Portsmouth.
Laura Adams and Sarah Bailey have over 20 years of experience in floristry between them and decided now was the perfect time to open their own florists at 224b Havant Road, Drayton. Laura and Sarah will trade as Blossoms of Portsmouth. They have agreed a 3 year lease at a rent of £11,000 per annum.
Hellier Langston acted on behalf of the landlord on the letting and have recently accepted instructions to manage the whole parade that Blossoms will trade from. Other tenants include a newsagents, hairdressers, a bridal wear shop and Rowans Hospice.
Laura and Sarah said ‘We chose Drayton to open our Florist as it still has the feel of a village and is full of independent shops like us. As soon as we saw 224b we knew it would be perfect. It was very important for us to be open by Christmas and Hellier Langston worked hard to make it happen. From the first viewing to our opening day was only 6 weeks! We couldn't have asked for a better start, the local community are so friendly and have made us feel so welcome. With the support of our friends and family our little shop is thriving.
